Mackenzie Sunday is a senior at the University of South Carolina. She is completing her BARSC major through the South Carolina Honors College for a degree in cognitive neuroscience. Mackenzie is a recipient of the Palmetto Fellowship and Leiber Scholarship and is a Carolina and Goldwater Scholar. She is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and plans to graduate summa cum laude in May. She is an alumnus of A.C. Flora High School where she graduated valedictorian of her class and currently does research in visual cognition with Dr. John Henderson at the USC Institute for the Mind and Brain. During her time at USC, Mackenzie has studied abroad in Greece, India, and New Zealand. In the fall, Mackenzie will enter the doctoral program at Vanderbilt University in cognitive neuroscience.
